I am a photographer and writer living in Hobart, Tasmania. I have a passion for people and ideas which has drawn me to use images and words to help people tell their stories.
As well as paid work I volunteer with various community organisations and groups including Bethlehem House, a men's shelter, and Life's Lessons, a mobile library servicing homeless and transient members of the community.
I have worked in a range of jobs including media adviser to a federal Member of Parliament, intelligence officer with Australia's peak intelligence body the Office of National Assessments, and Parliamentary Fellow and Research Specialist in politics and social policy at the Parliamentary Library in Canberra. I also have a PhD in political science.
I have enjoyed taking photographs since I can remember. I'm now combining my skills in writing and making images to tell stories that people want - or need - to hear. I welcome your feedback - feel free to email me.
