Can he do it?

On 20 March 2009 my husband Andrew Wilkie announced his intention to stand for election in the seat of Denison at the next state election, expected in March 2010. If successful he will be the first independent to be elected to the House of Assembly (the State's lower house) since the size of the Parliament was reduced in 1998.
